Shravana Institute of Speech and Hearing, Ballari is established under Shravana Education Trust, Ballari in the year 2016 and currently offers Bachelors program in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (B.ASLP). The institute is recognized by Government of Karnataka and is affiliated to Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ballari for awarding degrees.

The institute was established with a vision to increase manpower in the field of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology to address communication disorders with high quality education, clinical training and ethical practices. Apart from clinical and theoretical training, the institute also focuses on research in the field of communication disorders. We have highly qualified and experienced faculty members for providing high quality education in speech language pathology and audiology.

Currently the institute has collaborated with major hospitals and clinical centers in and around Ballari with an aim of providing good clinical training to students and provides good quality clinical services to individuals with communication disorders. The course offers wide range of opportunities in variety of setups including hospitals, clinics, teaching institutions, research centers and rehabilitation centers in India and also in other countries like United Arab Emirates, Muscat, USA, UK and Australia.

The institute is located in Ballari city which is in northern part of Karnataka and this is the only institute to offer this course in Hyderabad-Karnataka region. The city is known for its wide variety of culture, friendly environment and world class heritage places such as Hampi.
